Xander Tay – Portfolio

What I’m most known for in St Gabriel’s is the Lucky Cat costume I wore to school during the Chinese New Year celebration period in 2022. My dad recorded me getting out of the car in my obnoxiously huge costume carrying a gold bag full of chocolate to give to my friends. In a series of videos on his account (@wordsofwinston on TikTok), thousands of people saw this awkward Chinese kitty waddling into the school compounds. As you can see, I even achieved rather short-lived fame online, managing to get onto Mothership!
