Xander Tay – Portfolio

This is my secondary school scout unit! I was a Patrol Leader (PL) of Shark patrol within the unit and I upheld the role of Secretary of the Patrol Unit council. Being a PL gave me the opportunity to lead and guide my juniors and exposed me to various obstacles that challenged my capabilities as a Scout. Having been a scout for close to 8 years at this point allowed me to experience many amazing things. Be it within the close-knit family of Southern Cross or even beyond the shores of Singapore. One thing’s for certain, though, is that Scouting as a whole has shaped a bright and inquisitive version of me that would never have existed outside of Scouts.
