Xander Tay – Portfolio

I participated in my school-organised Hair For Hope satellite event to show support for family members and children with cancer and raised almost $1000 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation. This experience gave me humility in my appearance and understanding for those who struggled with the stigmatised views associated with being bald. It also gave me a new outlook on what being bald is like. The refreshing feeling whenever a breeze blew past and the constant head rubbing from others made me understand what it meant to make a bald statement.
