Xander Tay – Portfolio

This is my primary school Cub Scout unit! As you can see, I really enjoyed my time being a cub scout. I was a Cub Scout for 4 years in primary school and was appointed as a Sixer- the leader of the Red Cub patrol- within my unit. In my Cub Scouting days, I relished the many camps and courses I attended with my patrol and batch mates. The prospect of Scouting then daunted and even disgusted me (you can see my sour expression amongst the mob of excited Cubs in this photo). However, my 4 years in Cub Scouts pushed me further than anything I had ever done and even inspired me to apply for DSA into St Gabriel’s Secondary School!
