Xander Tay – Portfolio

I participated in the 25th WSJ in South Korea in 2023 with the Singapore Scout Contingent. The event saw scouts from over 200 countries participating in various forms of cultural immersion and interaction. Travelling alone was very daunting to me because i had never gone so far from home on my own before- not for 2 weeks either. Thankfully, I was quick to make friends with other delegates from my contingent and other countries. Like in the picture shown, I met scouts from all over the world from Brazil, Namibia, Britain and Lithuania just to name a few. The experience expanded my world view and exposed me to different cultures and practices. I made many friends and learnt many things about different countries!
