Xander Tay – Portfolio

My Scout unit was given the honor to represent the Singapore Scouts Association in the Scouts’ marching contingent for NDP 2022. As a participant in NDP, I learnt how to stay resilient in adversity and I was persistent in developing and perfecting my marching skills. I was even awarded the Star Award for showing vast improvement in marching and leadership. The experience was fulfilling in that it was the first major national event that I participated in as a scout and it helped me to strengthen bonds with my unit mates as well as cadets from other uniformed groups who participated in NDP 2022.
